We’re committed to shining bright

"LITTLE HEROES AT FIDDLER” GETAWAY WEEKEND
We hosted a special weekend getaway to Fiddler Lake Resort for 25 children battling cancer and their families. Generously, chalet owners allowed the little heroes and their families to stay at their log homes free of charge, for a chance to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature together.
"DRIVE-IN TO FUN" EVENT
We hosted our very first live event at the Royalmount Drive-In Event Theater in Montreal, featuring two movie favourites – Happy Feet and Grease. Special invitations and front-row seating were reserved for the brave children, doctors, and nurses from The Children’s. Guests enjoyed a pre-show dance party, treat boxes, and sweet door prizes. Our inaugural event was memorable, meaningful and a great success overall!

"THE RAINBOW RALLY" SCAVENGER HUNT
We organized a Scavenger Hunt across Montreal’s West Island, where clues guided participants to various locations filled with exciting activities before leading them to the next stop. Lena invited all her friends from the oncology floor at The Children’s to join in the fun. The day was packed with treats, surprises, and plenty of bright smiles for everyone involved!

$30,000 FOR 30TH BIRTHDAY
Lena’s aunt, Sophia, initiated our fundraising efforts in a deeply meaningful way. With Lena’s diagnosis so close to her heart, she chose to mark her 30th birthday by giving back to the hospital that had provided Lena such exceptional care. Sophia decided to cut 10 inches of her hair to raise funds for The Children’s. The response was overwhelming – she reached her initial $10,000 goal within hours. Inspired by the outpouring of support, she raised her target to $30,000 and met it just in time for her 30th birthday!

“SHARING SUNSHINE” SPECIAL TREAT DELIVERY
To celebrate the end of Lena’s intense chemotherapy phase, we shared a little “sunshine” with all the patients, doctors, nurses and support staff of the Hematology Oncology Division at The Children’s. We delivered sweet treats and handwritten notes to each of them, to brighten their day. A simple gesture of appreciation to highlight their contribution to Lena's recovery journey.

MICHAEL KORS HOLIDAY SHOPPING EVENT
To celebrate Lena’s first birthday since her remission, we hosted an exclusive holiday shopping event at Michael Kors in Downtown Montreal. It was a joyful occasion marking Lena’s 5th birthday, while raising funds for the hospital that played a vital role in her journey to recovery.

VIBRANT MASKS FOR ALL
We designed vibrant, handmade masks in a variety of styles, themes, and colors to help keep our community safe during the pandemic. Crafted with care in Montreal, our cheerful masks were available in all sizes, from toddlers to adults. We prepared a special care package for the patients at The Children’s, delivering plenty of fun, colorful masks for them to choose from! It was a win-win: helping keep everyone safe while raising funds.

THE RAINBOW ROOM
Lena’s mom, Christina, created a special space within her legal practice to honor her daughter’s courageous journey through leukemia, affectionately named The Rainbow Room. It’s a joyful place where Lena enjoys dancing, singing, laughing, and playing. This room is more than just a tribute; it’s also a space that gives back. A portion of the professional fees from every Will signed at her office is donated directly to The Lena Fund.
